Luigi's Piano Bar was one of my favorite restaurants in Cannes. I went there last year with my mother and had an absolute blast. It is not a big restaurant, which I really liked because everyone feels close together and connected. It is the kind of place where you spend two to three hours enjoying the atmosphere, the food, and meaningful conversations. The restaurant is on the pricey side, but I still highly recommend it. If you do not want to spend the money on a full meal, stopping by for a drink or an appetizer is a great option. I definitely recommend visiting Luigi's before you leave Cannes or if you happen to be passing by. This year was a completely different experience because I went with a bigger group (around 12 people), and we had an absolute blast. It was honestly one of the favorite nights of my life.
La Môme is another great restaurant if you're looking for fun vibes and a lively atmosphere. While I wouldn't necessarily say the food is the highlight, the energy more than makes up for it. Before you know it, everyone is up dancing, and it feels like you're in Greece or even a movie scene. It is also on the pricier side, but I would definitely recommend stopping by for a drink if you have the time. The atmosphere alone makes it a memorable experience.

La Petite Maison is another one of my favorite restaurants in Cannes. Unfortunately, I did not have time to stop by on this trip, but I can honestly say the food is spectacular, the views are beautiful, and the people-watching is phenomenal. The restaurant is located at Palm Beach, an area filled with restaurants, beach clubs, a casino, and shopping, making it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. I definitely think it's worth visiting Palm Beach during your time in Cannes, and if you have the chance, La Petite Maison is a restaurant you won't want to miss.
The next restaurant is another one of my favorites. It is not overly expensive and offers a clean, welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. This restaurant was recommended to us by Carson, and I'm so glad he suggested it because it quickly became one of my favorite spots. The food is incredible, and it's the perfect place to grab an amazing meal in the middle of the festival when you're starving or simply looking for a great meal that won't break the bank. My total came to around $30, and I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't super expensive. It's also a wonderful place to sit, relax, and people-watch while enjoying the lively atmosphere. On top of that, the staff is phenomenal and provides excellent service both during the festival and after the festival

Picky Eaters
This one's for all my fellow picky eaters! I'm a pretty picky eater myself, so I was a little nervous about going to Cannes, worried that not every restaurant would have something I'd enjoy. Thankfully, I was completely wrong. Most restaurants offer steak, pizza, chicken, fish, or salads, so I almost always find something I like. If you're traveling to Europe and are worried you won't eat enough, you can always stop by a grocery store for snacks. There's also an app called Deliveroo, which is basically the French version of Uber Eats and is often cheaper. If you're nervous about trying new restaurants, I recommend making a list of five meals you know you'll eat. Chances are, most restaurants will have at least one of them. Knowing that almost every place we visited had steak, fish, or pizza made me feel much more comfortable.
One thing that surprised me was how many restaurants in Cannes are actually Italian or have Italian-inspired menus. I also think it's important to challenge yourself to try one new food every day or every other day, even if it's just a bite of someone else's meal. You only get to experience France for the first time once, so it's worth stepping outside your comfort zone. Last year, when I visited Cannes with my mother, I was nervous about ordering a particular dish. I finally decided to try it, and it ended up becoming one of my favorite meals.
